How your information is used

• What we keep: your name, matriculation number or staff ID, department and level, email and phone number, the courses you take, and when you checked in to each lecture. A random cookie identifies this browser so shared phones can be noticed. We do not collect your location or anything else about your device.
• Why: to keep an accurate attendance register for your lecturer.
• Who can see it: you (your own records only), your lecturers, your department's officers and the system administrator. It is not sold or shared with anyone else.
• How long: for as long as your lecturer's department requires attendance records to be kept.
• Your phone number and email are used only to send your sign-in codes.
• If something is wrong: speak to your lecturer, who can correct a record. Every correction is logged.
• Limits: QR check-in records that your account scanned a code; it is not proof of where you were.
